Daniel E. DeKoter is a partner at Dekoter, Thole, Dawson & Rockman, PLC, where he focuses on civil litigation, business and employment law, and estate planning and administration. He graduated with a B.A. in Philosophy and English at Calvin College in 1977 and obtained his juris doctorate from the University of Iowa in 1980.

He currently serves at the Village Northwest Unlimited Board. He had also been a member of the Sibley Library Board, Sibley Kiwanis, Iowa State Bar Association Legal Forms Committee, Northwest Iowa Humane Society, and several church boards. He resides in Dickinson County with his two children.
