Daniel Singer
Daniel Singer is a physician in internal medicine with expertise in international health and health policy who has worked in multiple countries on four continents in both clinical and public health capacities. He currently is preparing to move to Malawi, where he will be a medical officer and senior health policy officer at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention office there.
Previously, Dr. Singer was the Associate Director for Global Health Research and International Activities at the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development, part of the National Institutes of Health. He came to that position from the U.S. Department of State’s Office of International Health and Biodefense where he was the Senior Medical Policy Advisor. He also served as the Eighth Luther Terry Fellow in the DHHS Office of Disease Prevention and Health Promotion and as an officer of the Epidemic Intelligence Service at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
