An alumnus of California State University, Northridge, Daniel Urnick balances a busy career as a general manager for a government vendor with a commitment to civic and charitable initiatives. Dedicated to his community, he was nominated as Citizen of the Year by the Los Angeles Police Department for his role in helping save a man from being attacked by a knife-wielding assailant. Daniel Urnick also spends much of his free time visiting the elderly in area senior living homes.
Also committed to animals and the environment, Daniel Urnick supports groups, such as People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA), and the Smithsonian Environmental Research Center. He also regularly volunteers at the West Valley Animal Shelter.
Outside of his professional and philanthropic efforts, Mr. Urnick pursues a diverse range of hobbies, which include following developments in the fields of archaeology and space exploration. He is also an avid golfer and has played famous courses, such as Pebble Beach in California and Royal County Down in Northern Ireland.
