I grew up in Southern California but have often been mistaken for a "true New Yorker." (This may or may not be a good thing.) I have a BA, an MA, and Grande Diploma of Pastry Arts -- none of which has anything directly to do with my current employment. I unusally enjoy copy editing and closet organizing. I always put salt on my cookies before baking, and tell people I don't really like to eat bagels but I lie. I dream of vacations to national parks and Iceland while still happily living in New York City with husband, two tiny humans, and one canine.
