I am a Linguistics major at the University of Georgia from Atlanta, GA. I decided to major in Linguistics because I am interested in the process in which people acquire language whether it's their first or second language. My passion for language acquisition started in elementary school where I was able to take my first foreign language class, French. From French, I've moved on to learn Spanish and Japanese. I believe language is the bridge that connects people together and without learning a second or third language, you are cheating yourself of the richness of the world. I hope to help with the enhancement of language acquisition in younger children via video game-based language learning.
