About Danita Smith, RN, MBA, DHA(c) — Founder of My Blooming Health Lab

Danita Smith, RN, MBA, DHA(c), is a visionary health care leader, educator, and entrepreneur dedicated to transforming how communities access diagnostic and wellness services. As the Founder and CEO of My Blooming Health Lab, a Missouri-based mobile phlebotomy and diagnostic company, Danita built a brand rooted in compassion, accessibility, and innovation. Her mission is simple yet powerful: “We Bring the Lab to You!”

With over a decade of nursing and administrative experience, Danita has combined her clinical expertise with business acumen to create a model that bridges the gap between patients, providers, and preventive care. Currently pursuing her Doctor of Health Administration (DHA) degree, Danita focuses her research on Medicare billing integrity, fraud prevention, and small-business best practices, an area inspired by her commitment to transparency and compliance in healthcare entrepreneurship. In addition to her doctoral journey, she serves as a BSN Clinical Instructor, guiding the next generation of nurses to combine compassion with critical thinking and professionalism.

Danita’s future goals include expanding Blooming Health into a Fortune 500-level enterprise, launching a state-accredited LPN training program, and publishing a series of educational e-books and templates under Blooming Health Publications to help other entrepreneurs grow with integrity. Her story reflects resilience, faith, and a steadfast belief that accessible healthcare begins with leaders who dare to innovate.
