Danstan is an Electrical Engineering student at The University of Nairobi, Class of 2017. He is also a Brand Ambassador (BA) at AfricaTalentbank.com (ATB) - a digital recruitment company that aims to Prepare, Position and Transition students from Campus to Corporate life. ATB also organizes events which include: Graduate Careers Fairs as well as Entrepreneur boot camps, where key speakers have included: Bob Collymore (CEO, Safaricom), Kunle Awosika (Country Manager-Microsoft Kenya), and James Mworia (CEO, Centum Investment).
Danstan was selected to represent Kenya in One Young World Summit 2016 at Ottawa Canada on the basis of his capacity for leadership, concern about global issues, ability to generate and articulate impactful ideas, teamwork and evidenced commitment to volunteering . The counsellors of the summit include President Bill Clinton, Nobel Laureate Kofi Annan, Sir Bob Geldof, Archbishop Emeritus Desmond Tutu, Sir Richard Branson, Arianna Huffington, Jamie Oliver, Fatima Bhutto, Unilever CEO Paul Polman & Mary Robinson
Danstan is an entrepreneur who started fending for himself and financing his education from a young age. He uses the experience acquired to challenge people to use their abilities to solve their problems and make positive change to society. Currently, he ventured into Commercial production of cherry tomatoes using automated greenhouses. He is also the founder of RaeDan Elegant Wears, a fashion line that supplies customized suits(& other official wears) for men & women.
He is also the founder of Grand A-Pic Studio, a premier studio offering the highest quality in Makeover, Photography & Videography with super-friendly professional team aimed at making the experience fun & life-transforming to the clients.
Danstan is a motivational and entrepreneurial speaker who has spoken at 92 high schools, 11 religious gatherings, 3 media stations, 1 rehabilitation center & 1 prison among other forums. He also writes provocative articles and produces short videos bearing different moral lessons and publishes them through his blog(www.SonOfAfricaDanstan.wordpress.com) and his YouTube channel.
