DarEll Hoskisson

SW Florida

I love to learn and work hard to achieve big goals. I also love to listen to people: either to comfort and help them or to learn from their experience.

I am always looking for new ways to improve myself or my processes. I like to be creative in finding ways to avoid or get over roadblocks and excuses. I love to cooperate so that life is easier for everyone.

I am currently a nearly full time mom of five children ranging in age from 6 to 19. I'm also a pilates instructor at our local YMCA and soon to be personal trainer.

I graduated from BYU with a degree in English and Secondary Education. I've taught all ages of children both at home and at church but have not pursued full time employment as a teacher. Instead I have enjoyed working for non-profits I believe in and keeping my major focus at home.

I am an avid reader. I usually pick up a book to learn something, solve a problem, or just to relax.

I also love to write. I like to think on a subject for a long time and condense what I learn into as small a nugget as possible. Usually I try to take this nugget and make it memorable in a poem.

I am NOT a doctor or physical therapist or nutritionist or marriage and family therapist or psychologist or psychiatrist, etc. Any suggestion or advise I share is only what I believe to be true at the time based on my own experience. I share in case it helps someone.

My treasures:

People, a friend, children

Knowledge, a solution

God, my source

Wellness and excellence
