Darin "Post Man" Florence is one of the most identifiable voices in radio production. As a protégé of Mitch Faulkner, early innovator and creative mind of voice and radio production, Darin used what he would learn, along with technical fundamentals and his marketing prowess to create a certain distinction in commercial production. The voice of radio ads and commercial production for years, Darin manifested his brand of radio/commercial production into 90% of the urban radio market throughout the United States. His ability to audibly cross market and assist in branding local and major commercial accounts, made him a virtual one stop shop for perfecting voice over jobs and overall commercial production.
Darin began perfecting his craft in Atlanta, GA before the onset of the recording industry Southern shift. A young and enthusiastic , Darin would evolve during the explosion of Southern Hip Hop and became the cornerstone of Atlanta radio production fusing Hip Hop influences into a brand of audio selling; cultivated it and call it officially, Postman Productions. Maintaining the highest standards of quality and keeping to the current trends, Postman Productions delivered the best in signature voice production, commercial production for radio and television, including radio drops, promos, and station identifications. Additionally, he mastered audio station imaging and the production of movie trailers. In existence since 1994, Post Man Productions boasts a collection of high profile clients such as Home Depot, Crawford Communications, Infinity Broadcasting,Tom Joyner Morning Show, Coca-Cola, Island Def Jam, Laface Records, Jive Records, Lidrock, ClearChannel, Radio One, Cox Communications, FUBU, Phat Farm, CNN and Ludacris' Disturbing the Peace.
Working behind the scenes and on the microphone, Darin constantly expands his production resume from when He started on air in High school in 1984. His experience has lent him the opportunity to work early on in radio syndication as the Executive producer of shows like "The Larry Tinsely Show," and in production at Atlanta's former Hot 97 (presently Hot 107.9) and the number one station in the southern region Atlanta's WVEE V-103. Presently, He is doing Production and Traffic Coordinator on syndicated shows, like the Tom Joyner Morning Show.
