Darius Veseckas

Hello, my name is Darius, I am from Lithuania. I moved to Glasgow in 2014 to study Commercial music at UWS.

I started learning music when I was only 5 years old.

I play guitar, bass guitar, piano, drums, percussion, and also sing.

I have done countless gigs with a number of different bands, but the biggest one was a TV show "Lithuania's Got Talent". I was there as a member of the band called "Ritmas Kitaip". We were a 10 piece band of drummers inspired by the "Blue Man Group" and we played with household items. We placed 8th in the finals and afterwards we started getting offers from all over the country to play in various venues and events. This gave me some valuable experience in working in music industry from a performer's point of view.

During my life I have tried out a few roles in the industry, but the one that I love the most is being a producer/sound engineer. Working with the artists in the studio, recording songs and mixing them, testing ideas trying to find what works best are some of my favorite aspects of this job. Music is my passion, and to be able to shape it the way I like sounds like an ideal career.
