The name 'DarkComet' was born around 2005 to 2006 to be used as a username by a 10 year old named Logan King. The idea was inspired by an activity Logan was very passionate about at the time, soccer. He played on a team called the Comets who wore greyish black jerseys. Being very original, he came up with the name the dark comet. Ever since that day, anytime or if anything asked to create a username, Logan has used DarkComet, if taken for some reason then DarkComet25. The username was originally used for a game called Runescape, but later would be used for practically everything else from BlockStory forums, to online game accounts, to finally Logan's small 3D printing business, website and YouTube channel.
