Darrell Nicholas

Walnut Ridge, Arkansas

A person who is grateful (most of the time) for the miracle of being alive. God knows there were too many times in my past I shouldn't have made it. It sure makes every day a pleasant miracle if I am humble enough to think about it and realize how fortunate I really am.

That being said, I want to develop iOS apps full time. I currently work as an ATM technician. I have 2 apps in the App Store, QuickSchedule, and the newly released (ugly icon and all) Mat Border Calculator. I am actually conducting a couple of experiments with Mat Border, I will be blogging my results in the very near future at my main website,

www.darrellnicholas.com

I also curate a weekly newsletter about learning to program for iOS, among other topics, at:

I am also working on my "masterpiece" app, or at least the most complicated and full-bodied app I have ever created. It has a working title of "MileageTracker", but that is likely to change. There are other apps that do what it will do, but they are cluttered and expensive. Mine will not be. Mine will be pleasant and affordable, simple yet powerful. It currently uses the Realm Database, but I think I am actually going to use 2 database technologies in it, the other will be Core Data. I may blog about the reasons if I ever get time.

I have 4 years experience writing iOS code in Objective-C and Swift. If you are looking for a dedicated iOS developer, please get in touch. I am looking for anything full-time.
