As the president and CEO of Odyssey Advisors, LLC, Dave Pflieger draws on more than 25 years of business and operational leadership experience to help small and mid-cap companies raise capital and execute turnarounds. His expertise also includes start-ups and rapid growth, as well as sales to new owners. He additionally provides guidance to private equity and venture owned portfolio companies. Dave Pflieger has led this San Francisco-based consultancy firm since 2016 and has assisted several companies across the AI, cybersecurity, drone, aviation, and transportation & logistics industries.

Mr. Pflieger has been CEO of six companies over the course of his career. He has also held other senior executive leadership roles including COO, Chief Commercial Officer, General Counsel, and senior vice president of government affairs.

While leading companies in the airline industry, Mr. Pflieger also played a major role in the launch of award-winning start-up airlines Virgin America and Song. He was later recruited by Oracle founder Larry Ellison to be CEO of Hawaii Island Air and was also hired by the World Bank to restructure and privatize the national airline of Cabo Verde.

Dave Pflieger also worked as an IP litigation attorney in the law firm King & Spalding, a top 50 US law firm. Mr. Pflieger holds an MBA and JD from Emory University and a BS from the United States Naval Academy in addition to having attended the Stanford University of law directors College and the USC school of aviation safety.
