David Censits

Now based in Baltimore, Dr. David Censits obtained a bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Pennsylvania in 1992 and subsequently enrolled at Thomas Jefferson University's Kimmel Medical College, where he earned his MD. Dr. David Censits completed a psychiatry residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and expanded on his educational credentials by completing the school's Clinical Research Scholars Program as well a two-year fellowship in sleep disorders at its Center for Sleep and Respiratory Neurobiology.
Dr. Censits worked per diem at the Hall-Mercer Crisis Response Center at the VA Hospital Psychiatry Emergency Department while pursuing those credentials. His first full-time psychiatry role was as an attending staff physician at the Abington Memorial Hospital's Sleep Disorders Center. There, he evaluated and treated patients experiencing obstructive sleep apnea, excessive daytime sleepiness, and insomnia, among other disorders.
Dr. David Censits served six years in this capacity while concurrently working as a comprehensive wellness consultant. He presently provides medical, legal, and science-writing consulting services in addition to caring for his son as a stay-at-home father.
