London

For 20 years, I was a London Market catastrophe and Energy underwriter. At AIG following 9/11 when global reinsurance capacity suddenly collapsed, I was Chief Underwriter on a desk partnered by Berkshire Hathaway's National Indemnity Unit that was headed up by Ajit Jain, one of the most thorough and respected underwriters of idiosyncratic risk.

In 2006, I began work on a new funding methodology based on daily observable event data, little realising the role poor credit analysis would have on the financial crisis that lay ahead.

Now working with both non-financial and financial corporates globally to improve their allocation of capital and mitigation of credit risk to create more resilient funding transactions and counterparty relationships. This is essentially achieved by strengthening non-financial corporates going concern status by reducing their solvency and liquidity risk.
