After earning a bachelor's degree in organizational communication from the University of Utah, David Musselman earned an advanced certificate in conflict resolution and mediation from the school in 1997. He began his career as an arbitrator of business contract disputes, and spent 6 years in this capacity before founding Divorce Mediation Institute of Utah. As a divorce mediator, David Musselman created the first flat-fee mediation process and developed the Divorcetec mediation software. He now has 26 years of experience as a mediator and serves clients through Common Ground Divorce Services of Utah.
Since establishing this company in 2004, Mr. Musselman has developed proprietary software and programs such as the alimony buyout calculator, the monthly payment alimony calculator, and the marriage coaching program. In addition, he serves as lead mediator for all high-conflict divorce cases and oversees the creation of all marketing materials.
In the past, he served as a bishop at a Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Taylorsville, Utah. His hobbies include water sports, spending time outdoors, and traveling.
