David Preschlack
NBC Sports Group in Connecticut
A well-established NBC executive, David Preschlack guides the network’s Sports Group Platform and content strategy activities as president. Since taking the position in 2016, David Preschlack has also guided an evolution in the NBC Sports Regional Networks brand, with a variety of regional sports networks brought under unified leadership. He also spearheaded the launch of a new direct-to-consumer streaming service focused on local markets and the Universal Open: Rocket League esports tournament.
Mr. Preschlack previously held responsibilities with the Disney and ESPN Networks Group as executive vice president of affiliate sales and marketing. He oversaw a range of content from brands such as WatchESPN, WATCH ABC, WATCH Disney, and ESPN3, which were distributed on digital devices and via desktop computers.
A three-time recipient of Forty Under 40 recognition from SportsBusiness Journal, Mr. Preschlack was inducted into the award’s Hall of Fame. Having started his sports media career with ESPN, he met his wife Alex while working with her at the network. David Preschlack’s favorite activities with his wife and children include travel and he has served on the National Wildlife Refuge Association board.
