My whole working experience was tailor-made for me to move into the Financial Services Recruitment and Financial Services headhunting arena. I knew the market, I knew how to make things work for both the new recruit and the client company, plus I was well connected. To date, I have been operating for a little over 30 years in the Financial Services recruitment marketplace and concentrating mostly on assisting Financial Advisers in their careers.
IFA JOBS & FINANCIAL ADVISER JOBS We Put the Candidate First - we work on the basis that, if we always put the interests of the candidate first, everything else would follow on quite naturally. So we set about talking to as many potential candidates as possible.Some candidates would choose to talk straightaway and consider their career options, others would choose not to talk at all and the remainder would choose to have us stay in touch but not get too serious about considering their options right then.In this fashion, we have gradually built a database of advisers which today is several thousand strong. Right through to the current date, we work pretty much only by referrals, word of mouth and networking.
FINANCIAL SERVICES RECRUITMENT You might say what about the interests of the client company, who after all is the one who pays the invoice. Our belief is if we get it right for the candidate, and providing that the candidate meets the client criteria, then the interests of the client are also met in full.If it is right for the candidate to join with a particular client, then it is potentially right for the client as well and, since the client has the final say in the decision to offer a position (or not), the interests of both parties are well served by this approach.
FINANCIAL SERVICES JOBS Our client companies include the major banks and some other multi-national companies, on a range through to more local firms which may have just one or two advisers. In all cases, we will only put forward those candidates that meet the laid down criteria as set by the client – so no time is wasted on interviewing patently unsuitable individuals.
