David William Doan

A knowledgeable manager with more than two decades of experience in manufacturing in a high-volume environment, David William Doan currently serves as a delivery tech for FedEx. In this capacity, he is responsible for the loading and managing of commercial and home packages. Originally joining the company as a temporary employee in 2012, he was soon given control of a route that covers more than 300 miles a day. David William Doan grew the route into one of the most successful FedEx routes from the terminal in Independence, Kentucky, by developing a quick unload system for individual carriers and establishing a high reliability rating.
Mr. Doan graduated magna cum laude with his bachelor’s degree from the University of Cincinnati and earned a certification of mechanical design from Gateway Community College. He started off working as a manufacturing and packaging manager for Forest Pharmaceuticals, Inc., and held this position for nearly a decade before joining Meridian Bioscience, Inc., as an operations and production manager. He subsequently held such positions as assistant plant manager at Duro Bag Corporation, plant manager for OneCare, and director of operations for Chester Packaging before starting his current position
