David Donovan

As executive vice president at a Boston-based innovation consultancy, David Donovan focuses on transformative efforts to digitize banking operations. Previously a senior trader with Fidelity Investments, David Donovan had longstanding oversight of its technology trading group. He worked in tandem with top Fidelity fund managers in providing portfolio-focused business intelligence while trading a diverse range of futures, equities, derivatives, and basket holdings.

With Publicis Sapient since 2005, Mr. Donovan has helped set in place complex strategic initiatives designed to enable banks to maintain operations at the highest levels of efficiency and client responsiveness. His work focuses on enabling enterprises to understand and utilize data for maximum impact through proprietary data-science pathways.

Working with his firm’s digital business transformation clients, he also implements custom technologies that enhance middle-office operations management. The AI-informed services he provides span security and cognitive chatbots, as well as cloud integration and dev-ops solutions.

Mr. Donovan obtained his degree in finance and business from Boston College. Community-focused, he supports causes such as the Marblehead Public Schools Scholarship Fund and the Learning Prep School for children with learning disabilities.
