David Tan

David Tan has served as a physician assistant with Jesse Brown VA Medical Center located in Chicago, Illinois since 2018. He previously held the same position at Edward Hines, Jr., VA Hospital in the city of Hines. In 2010, David Tan completed his education with a master's degree from George Washington University in Washington, DC.
Prior to beginning his work as a physician assistant, he spent several years in the US Army. He first joined the military in 2003, and 2 years later went to Iraq as a medic. Following his tour of duty there, he earned promotion to the rank of sergeant.
Outside of his career, Mr. Tan contributes his musical skills to his local Lutheran Church, playing the violin and base guitar, and singing in the traditional choir. He has also played the bells on special occasions. In addition to music, he also enjoys acting, and has participated in the Hinsdale community's Christmas show.
