David Watts
Passionate Safety Professional, Safety Culturalist, and Consultant in Boston, Massachusetts
Born: Montgomery, Alabama - "Roll Tide!"
"I have worked in the safety profession for what has been over 25 years. My construction career began in 1988 at a Waste Water Treatment facility in Lorton, VA where I worked as a laborer. I was fresh out of the U.S. Navy. My father had invited me to Virginia for the opportunity to work on his project - he was the General Superintendant. It was determined that because I had military experience, certainly I could be trusted to take injured employees to the medical facility for treatment and return them safely to the job. So I was assigned a pager and introduced to the safety profession."
