Apparently, men over 50 have two choices in life. Gardening or Birdwatching. So I chose Birdwatching and set up LinNet. After a lifetime of watching everything shrink, from my woolies to the cost of calling China, I decided it was a good idea to use my 30 years of bits, bobs and bytes in the wacky world of Marketing. So here I am, standing on the precipice of the Digital Marketing world surrounded by young women, chinese microbloggers, tweeters and geeks in wooly hats. My assembler teacher would be turning in his grave, if he were dead, which he certainly is not. But here you are, a journey from pushing and popping to blogging and phpeeing. It's been a long road from Word macros to Word presses and has taken me as far afield as Burslem and Tokyo. So now, with no more ado I will take my place in the long line of cold callers with their strained lament of psst. wanna buy some mandys or a website bob? Only one careful owner.
