Dawn Bartz

Recognized for her contributions as an educational leader both in her home community of Pleasantville, New York, and farther afield, Dawn Bartz has received several honors and citations throughout her career. The Connecticut Association of Schools selected her to receive the Thomas Flanagan Top Leadership Award, and she was named a National Difference Maker on Behalf of Children by the National Association of School Psychologists. Furthermore, she was named Teacher of the Year by the Laguna Beach Unified School District and earned an Honorary Service Award for Outstanding Community Service to Youth from the California Parent Teacher Association. Based in Pleasantville, New York, Dawn Bartz uses her considerable expertise in her roles as project manager and global studies theme coach for Danbury Public Schools in Danbury, Connecticut.

As an active educator and administrator, Dawn Bartz maintains affiliations with several professional organizations on a national level. Among others, these include the School Administrator’s Association of New York, the American Association of School Superintendents, and the Columbia University Teachers College Alumni Association. She holds graduate degrees from both Columbia University and California State University, and is pursuing a doctoral degree in instructional leadership at St. John’s University in New York.
