I am very proud to say that my husband Jeff and I adopted a handsome baby boy in 2009 through newborn domestic adoption. Yes, I have personally walked down some of those same roads you are now traveling and I would consider it a privilege to personally help you make your family dreams come true.

Let me tell you a little history of myself. I graduated from Western Michigan University in Anatomy & Physiology and Child Psychology. I have been an Executive Consultant and Financial Advisor for families and businesses throughout the country for the past twenty plus years. My greatest joy, thus far, has been the ability to work with families to make their "goals" come true through money management. In the past, I have been honored to represent the interests of children in court as a Guardian ad Litem and have been a volunteer with the Heart Gallery of Central Florida and AdopTrek AdopTion Consultants. I am currantly an active professional member of the Florida Adoption Council; RESOLVE – The National Infertility Association. I volunteer with the Junior League of Greater Orlando and attend Crown of Glory Lutheran Church.

The turning point! I have been actively involved in the area of family building since 2002 when as an unmarried career woman, I felt the desire to have child(ren). My journey began with donor insemination and progressed into the State Foster-Adoption program. My life soon changed when I married my wonderful husband, Jeff, and our desire to start a family together was knocking. An understatement would be that we struggled through fertility – unsuccessfully. My husband and I also rode the "roller coaster" through the domestic adoption process – successfully! From our personal experience and the exceptional insider's point of view we gained, I understand how overwhelming, confusing and expensive adoption can be. After sharing my knowledge and guidance with Florida families, I was continuously asked to help more families nationwide by becoming an adoption consultant, hence, The Adoption Key was established.
