Damien Hilliard

Damien Hilliard, known to some as "Daymo", is a 24 year old songwriter from a small southwest suburb outside of Chicago, Illinois. He grew up in a multi-racial neighborhood where there was a variety of different genres of music around him, which inspired him to become musically inclined.

Two of his biggest inspirations, ironically, both have the same initials. Michael Jackson and Michael Jordan. He quotes, "I'm inspired by both in different ways. Michael Jackson for being a perfectionist and Michael Jordan for not giving up after being cut from the team and helping his teammates around him be great. I often find both of their characteristics in myself."

To name a few, Damien has written for producers such as Troy Taylor, Darryl Cook, Mitus, JGramm, Wavecandy, Florian Maier, etc...

Damien has always been an outside the box type of thinker and always tried to challenge himself musically. As of now, he writes Pop, R&B, Dance, Hip Hop, and Rock. He also keeps an open mind to different types of music to create different opportunities.

Damien is currently working with many producers and songwriters trying to make his mark in the music industry. Whether it's getting song placements or building great relationships with the right people. He has hopes of inspiring others and wants to be living proof that anything is possible!
