Deidre Snyman

My name is Deidre Snyman and I was born on 17 September 1987 in Johannesburg, South Africa. My mother raised me and my two sister after she and my father divorced shortly after my seventh birthday, after which she remarried and we moved to Krugersdorp.

I attended Hoerskool Noordheuwel where I completed my secondary schooling after which I completed an international diploma in Culinary Arts at the City and Guilds in Krugersdorp North. I worked in the industry for a few years but after my mother passed on, I decided that I was going to change my professional direction by enrolling to study education at the University of Johannesburg after I had gotten some experience working as a Consumer Studies teacher at Hoerskool Die Burger in Newlands, Johannesburg.
