I was born and raised in the Greater-Boston area and although "I love that dirty water," I was eager to see what else is out there. In 2010 I sailed around the world with Semester at Sea. It was an incredible experience, and I'm so grateful and fortunate to have had the opportunity to do so. Throughout my trip I combined my passions of travel and fitness and visited as many CrossFit gyms as I could, including an Ashram-CrossFit hybrid in India. After spending a week in the Sri Ram Ashram Orphanage, I came home with a renewed spirit in the CrossFit community, and its amazing ability to change peoples' lives for the better. I hope to own a CF affiliate in the near future in order to empower our youth athletes here in the U.S.
