SportsZone owner and president Dennis Reed brings both business and athletic experience to his leadership position at the indoor sports complex. He comes to SportsZone following success as founding president and CEO of Uniglobe Travel Northeast, a regional travel company with 75 franchise locations. Dennis Reed founded Uniglobe in 1981 after an accomplished tenure as president and CEO with Century 21 of New England. At the real estate company, he increased net profits by nearly 10 percent and more than $1.5 million over the course of only two years. A well-respected athletic coach, Dennis Reed enjoys stepping out of his executive role to train young athletes at SportsZone. Many of these individuals have gone on to secure placement on collegiate basketball teams, thus achieving lifelong dreams. He has also coached the New England Shooting Stars, a nationally renowned girls’ basketball club, to several state, regional, and national championships. In addition, Mr. Reed has traveled across New England and beyond as a youth basketball camp and clinic leader. He continues to conduct skills camps and acts as an instructor in speed, agility, and quickness. A veteran of the United States Army, Mr. Reed was honorably discharged as a first lieutenant. He earned a bachelor of science in marketing from The Ohio State University and has continued his education through the years with courses in CPR and first aid, as well as coaching skills.
