After 35years as an educator I retired and reinvented myself as a cattle rancher on 100 acres in southern Ontario. I now graze and grass finish about 50 steers each year. These steers graze the rolling hills of Grey County and the meat is marketed as Grass Roots Beef. Pasturing livestock is the environmentally responsible and healthy way to produce beef.
