Having had a long affiliation with the International Foot & Ankle Foundation for Education and Research, Dr. Deo Rampertab is a sports medicine podiatric physician who specializes in surgical procedures such as midfoot and rearfoot reconstruction and fusions, ankle stabilizations, and osteotomies that use staples, screws, or wires for fixation. In addition to performing surgical and minimally invasive procedures, Dr. Deo Rampertab has worked to advance podiatric education through his positions as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the Arizona College of Podiatric Medicine, Consultant Podiatrist at the Carl T. Hayden VA Medical Center, and lecturer at various conferences.
Dr. Deo Rampertab most recently served as Associate Director of the VA Office of Inspector General, and previously worked as a Staff Podiatrist at the VA Central California Health Care System. He managed his own podiatry practice from 1998 to 2015, during which time he was also a senior staff member of a Level I trauma center. He earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from Scholl College at Rosalind Franklin University and holds a bachelor's degree in biochemistry from Stony Brook University. Beyond his professional pursuits, Dr. Rampertab is a regular donor to Wounded Warrior, St. Jude Children's Hospital, St. Baldrick's Foundation, John C. Lincoln Foundation and the Ulman Fund for Young Adults with Cancer. Dr. Deo Rampertab has demonstrated his commitment to serving others by maintaining membership in the Paul Harris Society of The Rotary Foundation of Rotary International, an organization dedicated to supporting families and changing lives around the world.
