As a creative director, UX designer and industrial designer many things have changed in the past 17 years since I began my first design challenge. How ever there is one truth that has remained the same for any successful design. That is to understand the primary users needs and business objectives when creating design solutions. Whether I am wireframing, understanding my users needs or being an information architect, I always carry the responsibility of business thinking and design thinking on my shoulders simultaneously.
