JT ॐ

In high school Jared Tookes, better known to his colleagues and friends as JT, was one of the founding members of the areas first Skateboarding Club and a member of the art club and Theta Phi Psi Fraternity Inc. In 2012 he graduated Hillside High School with a 3.0 GPA. He was accepted into A&T State University, UNC-G, and Savannah College of Art and Design. He currently is enrollent and attending the HBCU North Carolina Central University, studying to become a Graphic Designer. He hopes to be able to apply his lessons to his future business practices. In his practice Jared hopes to create new and innvoative ways of design and concepts as well as challenge his other designers and future designers in all fields to shy away from conventional and basic works and create new visual asthetics; Changing up the game as we see it, quite literally. Additionally, Jared spends his spare time doing Event DJ-ing under the pseudonym, DJ Night Light and has been doing this on and off for approximately 4 years. He also dabbles in tattoo art, graphic shirt design, dance, musical production, photograpghy, website design, and a plethora of other activites. Jared can be quoted often saying "HO.L.O.; Have Only Love for Others". This is a mantra that he embodies in all aspects of his life as he has done numerous voluteer and pro-bono work with companies as well as with his friends and colleagues.
