Devarajan Iyengar

A graduate of the Baroda Medical College of Maharaja Sayajirao University in India, Devarajan Iyengar, MD, completed his postdoctoral and fellowship training in internal medicine and oncology at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and Newark Beth Israel Medical Center. He belongs to such professional organizations as the American Society of Breast Diseases and American Society of Hematology. Dr. Devarajan Iyengar has also participated in clinical studies focused on cancer and other oncology issues.
Currently, Dr. Iyengar is the president of Hudson Hematology Oncology Associates in New Jersey and is affiliated with several local hospitals. In his free time, he is also involved with several local cancer survivor group activities and is the founder of the Bayonne Community Cancer Support Group. For his leadership in his community, Dr. Devarajan Iyengar has received official recognition at the county, state, and federal levels, with the latter culminating in his name being read into the record of the United States House of Representatives in May of 2003.
