Bulgaria, Burgas
I am teacher from Bulgaria. My school is member of Microsoft IT Academy and I am an instructor. I teach student how to work with Windows and Office, so they can work effectively and successfully.
My research on the topic in which way education will develop have not finished with this. The processes in the technological sphere and the dynamic work with the students provoke me to find a way for delivering electronic teaching materials for children. The limited financial resources made me look at different free web sites based on WordPress, Moodle, Coppermine and others. I have organized a lot of seminars for teachers during the year so that they can use these tools. The practice shows that the teachers start with uncertainty to use the technologies. The students have positive attitude towards these attempts and this makes the teachers to be more brave when they use the technologies. You can see the attempts of my colleague that teaches art, who organized with my help national competition for computer picture and collage – http://arts.gpaeburgas.org. During the last year "SchoolOpenDays" from my school changed the organization of the teaching in different subjects and used different technologies, opinions can be found on http://facebook.com/SchoolOpenDays. The computer labs are not only for teaching technologies, the technologies are instruments that could be used for developing students' abilities and knowledge.
