Diego Castillo Jr

Diego Castillo is an National Student Leadership Conference Alumni of the Sports & Entertainment Management program and a Sport Management student at the University of Florida. He was born in Cali, Colombia and is a South Florida native. He has exhibited his passion in the Entertainment field by partaking in the largest student-led Hispanic Celebration in the Country, Hispanic Heritage Month, as a Talent Show Director and Treasurer; and as a Student Assistant at the Stephen C. O'Connell Center as an Usher, Security, and Set Crew Member. Through Student Government, Diego has aimed in making a difference on campus as an Allocations Committee member, Student Senator, and Diversity Division Chair in the Executive Branch. He is an advocate and ambassador for the DREAM Act and Immigration rights, as well as the Treasurer and brother of the largest Latin Based Fraternity in the country, Sigma Lambda Beta. Diego has impacted the youth as a High School Group leader in his community Church and wishes to further develop young leaders for the future.
