Donna Ross Jones, Founder & CEO of Transition Music & Media Corporation (TMC).

Jones launched her first business at age 21, “International Marketing” the first independent global marketing company to help U.S.-based music artists gain recognition around the world. She’s been innovating ever since as an artist manager, marketing executive, music publisher, music supervisor and media producer. Under Jones’ direction TMC – The Los Angeles 2014 Minority owned Media Firm of the Year - has become one of the top 100 Music Publishers in the United States and currently owns and controls more than 26,000 combined unique publishing copyrights and master recordings.

Transition Music Corporation formed Transition Media to replicate their music success in media and marketing. Transition Music and Media combine expertise in music, media, marketing, branding and non-profit advocacy work to deliver an unprecedented value proposition for state, local and federal agencies that license music and produce “message” media that improves our lives and communities.

TMC exclusively provides music solutions for more than 26 television series and 9 channels & networks resulting in more than 250,000 domestic broadcasts annually, an estimated 1,000,000 performances globally. She has contributed to the careers of superstars including; Eddie Murphy, Heart, Irene Cara, Stevie B., Deniece Williams, Rick James and Anita Baker & received more than 10 Platinum & Gold Records, an Emmy Award for music and recognized by The Hollywood Reporter, Black Enterprise, and proclaimed Executive of the Year for her contributions to Film & TV Music by the Cambridge Who’s Who and the City of Los Angeles awarded her with the "Emerging Entrepreneur" award for her innovation and entrepreneurship.
