Beyond his role at DCIT, Dotun is the Founding President of YouCAN Empowerment Initiative, a prominent non-governmental organization dedicated to empowering young Nigerians. With a vision to sensitize, educate, train, empower, and motivate individuals, especially undergraduates, YouCAN organizes seasonal seminars, symposiums, conferences, and vocational skills acquisition training/workshops. Under Dotun's leadership, YouCAN has successfully trained and impacted the lives of over 3000 young Nigerians through their transformative projects with over 600 trained in their 2022 Free Vocational skills Training at Tigbo Ilu, Iyana Ilogbo Ogun State.

Dotun Arogundade's commitment to youth development and empowerment has been recognized throughout his career. With a degree in Accountancy from the esteemed Gateway Polytechnic Saapade, a graduate of the renowned Mike Oladipo Global Influence Global Leadership School amongst other professional certifications, he possesses a solid educational foundation and a wealth of knowledge.

He recently completed a professional course on Artificial Intelligence and Career essentials by Alx Africa. And has been a crazy crusader of ethical use of technology and artificial intelligence tools.

Driven by a passion for technology and a desire to unlock the potential of young individuals, Dotun continues to make significant contributions to the IT industry and youth empowerment initiatives - He runs an Onsite Free mentorship masterclass every Saturday with the theme “Making a Difference w/Dotun Arogundade”

Through his leadership, expertise, and dedication, he strives to create a future where Nigerian youth are equipped with the necessary skills and opportunities to thrive and succeed in the digital era.
