Douglas Edward Spooner

With more than 30 years of business management experience, Douglas Edward Spooner serves as the founder of Whippet US, an information technology firm based in San Francisco, California. He developed the company with a vision of financing tuition grants through annual revenue from software outsourcing, mobile optimization, and cloud migration, among other services. In addition, Douglas Edward Spooner provides independent consulting to individuals and enterprises in the construction management industry. He has guided his clients throughout multimillion-dollar building projects and helped them position each property for long-term success.

He previously directed general contracting at Calvestra, Inc., which he founded in 2006. In his role as CEO, he led consistent growth from the startup phase to achieve $10 million per year in luxury housing budgets.

Mr. Spooner completed a bachelor’s degree in architecture with a minor in mathematics at Lawrence Technological University in Southfield, Michigan. While attending the school, he had the opportunity to display many of his projects publicly around campus.
