Meet Dr. Xmas, your consummate holiday expert. Born on December 25th (we’ll save the year) the holidays, especially Christmas, have held a special place in her heart since she was a tiny tot.

In her blog, she explores all holiday themes, rituals and those crazy things we do each holiday season. Some of them you may have been wondering about for years, others well—who knew? All in the name of peace on earth and peace of mind: Why does Santa fill socks? What’s with kissing under mistletoe and whose brilliant idea was it for making fruitcake anyway?

Dr. Xmas has a life-long connection to Christmas as well as a passion for education and literature. She’s a UCLA graduate, holds certification from the Children’s Institute for Children’s Literature and earned a Master of Science degree from Syracuse University. She is an educator, a writer and a business woman. Oh, and in her spare time, she dabbles with a full-time job in media and marketing.

Her goal? To spread good tidings of great cheer and all things Tiny Tim to a sometimes too-busy-for-Christmas world. Whew!
