Born and raised in South Florida, I am honored to partner with Bethesda Health, one of the few not-for-profit health care organizations in our area, to provide high-quality medical care to the community of Palm Beach. I earned a Bachelors of Science in Exercise and Sport Sciences, with honors, from the University of Florida, and remain a die-hard Gators fan. I completed my medical degree at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine before serving a combined Internal Medicine and Pediatrics (Med/Peds) residency at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC. The first eight years of my career, I practiced with Kaiser Permanente in Denver, Colorado. My practice was recognized by the National Council for Quality Assurance (NCQA) for excellence in the care of diabetes, and earned the highest rating as a Patient Centered Medical Home. As a former (and still occasional) triathlete, I have a special medical interest in Sports Medicine, specifically in the care of endurance athletes and adolescents. I have volunteered several times in the medical tent at the Ironman World Championship in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii. I currently reside in Jupiter, where I grew up, with my wife and daughter. We enjoy stand-up paddle-boarding and other beach activities together. When I have time to myself, I also enjoy cycling, fishing and home-brewing, though much of my free time is spent training for the Florida Storm Series half-marathons.
