Dr. Adam J. Mamelak is a Board-Certified Dermatologist and Fellow of the American College of Mohs Surgery. Dr. Mamelak began his studies at McGill University in Montreal, Quebec. He went on to study medicine and graduated from Queen's University as a Gold Medalist, one of the highest Canadian academic honors. At Johns Hopkins, Dr. Mamelak completed his residency in Dermatology as well as a feloowship in Molecular Immunology. Dr. Mamelak went on to train in Mohs Surgery at the world renouned Texas Medical Center. Dr. Mamelak specializes in the diagnosis and management of skin cancer, and had published over 50 articles on this disease in medical journals. As a procedural dermatologist, Dr. Mamelak also performs a number of esthetic procedures including Botox, Juvederm, Restylane and other dermal filler injections, varicose vein treatments, chemical peels, eyelid surgery, liposuction, and laser surgery. In 2012, Dr. Mamelak openned Sanova Dermatology in Austin, Texas, bringing his expertise to Texas and the southern United States.
