Her Excellency Ambassador Dr. Antoinette Carole Grace Mbarga is an awards winning Certified Global Trainer, Human Rights Advocate, and community activist with a heartfelt visible commitment to serve the world at local and global levels. Born and raised in Cameroon, she’s been residing in the Washington Metropolitan area for several decades. She’s the current United Nations Global Peace Ambassador; serves as the Global Education Network-GEN, Deputy Continental Director for Africa and International Internship University - IIU Certified Global Trainer and Country Director for Cameroon. As an entrepreneur she’s CEO and Founder of Afiri Consulting International and The Mbarga Project. As a community leader, she has 20+ years of experience working with individual from disparate socio-economic backgrounds, especially Latino or African immigrants, at risk youth and low-income familles and people with disabilities. As a Community Activist she often uses her social media handles to raise awareness on domestic violence awareness, human trafficking, women, and girls’ rights as well as high profile Human Rights violation cases in the international community. She was instrumental in making public the recent racial discrimination endured by African immigrants fleeing the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine. In 2017 she founded the Miss Africa USA Internship Program, focused on the education of the girl child with an emphasis on encouraging black girls to pursue careers in the STEM field (Sciences, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics). She served as Congressional Intern for Hon. Sheila Jackson Lee (D); successfully organized a “Do Not Cancel the DV Lottery” community protest before Congress and the White House.
