Cassandra Mougiakou, M.D., is a graduate of the Medical Academy of Poznan, Poland (1993) and a specialist in internal medicine (1999).

She is the Chief Medical Officer at Galaxy Health Technology LLC.

She is an Advisor with the National Foundation for Integrative Medicine.

Other activities:

In 1994, Cassandra joined the Healthy Heart Association, and she started giving lectures on nutrition in people with obesity, hypertension, and hyperlipidaemia. She was invited to many radio and television shows to talk about the principles of the Mediterranean diet. She has conducted several clinical studies, mostly related to the influence of diet on patients with cardiac diseases, which were presented at International Cardiology Conferences. In 1998, she was awarded the “Best Young Scientist” by the International Association of Friends of the Heart in Venice, Italy. The same year she became a member of the “30” Club of the Polish Cardiology Association.

Cassandra is a specialist in internal medicine (1999). During her specialty residency, she worked at a Cardiology Department and at the Department of Palliative Care for cancer patients.
