Dr. Cheng Jun

Dr. Cheng Jun is an experienced gastroenterologist and master endoscopist based in Singapore. In addition to managing the Cheng Jun Gastroenterology and Medical Clinic for more than two decades, he previously lent his expertise to Singapore General Hospital as a consultant gastroenterologist and hepatologist and is still a Visiting Consultant to date. He was a member of the medical advisory board of Mount Elizabeth Hospital. He was also a physician for Singapore Armed Forces referral clinics.
Dr. Cheng Jun is also involved with medical education institutions in various capacities, most recently serving as a lecturer at the University of Northern Sumatra since 2007. His previous academic roles include terms as a teaching faculty member at the University of Hong Kong and as a clinical tutor and lecturer at the National University of Singapore.
Over the course of his career, Dr. Cheng Jun has amassed a significant body of research, authoring book chapters in the texts Management of Malignant Biliary Strictures (Chapter 22) and Management of Common Gastroenterological Problems, a Malaysia and Singapore Perspective (Chapter 18). He also performs live endoscopy workshops for junior gastroenterologists and has served as a hands-on trainer and live endoscopy workshop moderator at GIHep Singapore for ten consecutive years.
