She received her early medical training at the UCLA School of Dentistry, where she was one of four seniors selected for a mini-residency in esthetic dentistry. She graduated with a Doctor of Dental Science in 1994. Dr. Stephenson continued her education at Einstein Healthcare Network in Philadelphia, where she served her general practice residency from 1994 to 1995.
