Dr. Dathan Paterno

A licensed clinical psychologist in Illinois, Dr. Dathan Paterno has more than two decades of experience working in hospitals, schools, residential treatment centers, and private practices. Since 2005, he has owned and served as clinical director of Park Ridge Psychological Services, a private psychology practice with four locations in the Chicago area. Previously, Dr. Dathan Paterno served as a clinical psychologist at The Arlington Center for Attention Deficit Disorders, and as an instructor in the psychology department at Harper Community College.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Paterno is the co-author of Ladies and Gentlemen: Why the Survival of our Republic Depends on the Revival of Honor, and author of Desperately Seeking Parents: Why Your Child Needs a Parent in Charge and How to Become One. Dr. Paterno holds a bachelor of arts from Calvin College and a doctor of psychology in clinical psychology from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology. When he is not working, he enjoys writing books and screenplays.
