Elisha Lukalia is a Tutorial Fellow, researcher, and multidisciplinary technology professional with a strong academic background in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, Operations Research, mathematics, and statistics. His work focuses on transforming complex data into practical insights and developing technology-driven solutions to real-world challenges.
As a Tutorial Fellow, Elisha supports students through teaching, academic mentoring, research guidance, and the practical application of computing and data-analysis concepts. He is passionate about simplifying complex subjects and helping learners develop confidence, critical-thinking skills, and technical competence.
His research interests include artificial intelligence, machine learning, data engineering, data analytics, cybersecurity, human–computer interaction, educational technology, and the psychological and social effects of emerging technologies. He has worked on research and applied projects involving predictive modelling, classification systems, business analytics, database design, data visualization, smart technologies, and AI-assisted decision-making.
Elisha has experience with programming languages and technologies such as Python, Java, C++, JavaScript, SQL, React, Django, Node.js, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Docker, and Apache Kafka. He is also proficient in analytical and visualization tools, including SPSS, Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Tableau, ArcGIS, MATLAB, and Google Colab.
