Dr. Gary Thompson

Draper, Utah

Father of four, soon to be five lovely children from ages 24 to 4 years old...all pictured above (with my lovely wife) I suppose I'm considered a "late bloomer" in life...but better late than never.

I obtained a doctoral degree in clinical/forensic psychology and spent 4 grueling years in various clinical training sites and Residencies attempting to learn how to detect, assess, and treat more things that could go wrong with your kids than you would ever care to know.

I'm pretty good at it....however...my wife is a licensed clinical psychologist in practice with me, and she is scary good at it. Five years ago we started a private practice/consulting group in South Jordan, Utah in the much needed areas Pediatric & Educational Psychology. I chose this area of concentration because because of the soft spot I have for children with disabilities & undetected giftedness, and the long road they face in crowded public school systems.

I have been able to use my past life experiences in this area, in combination with my training, to change the lives of many children/teens who were headed down a self esteem, burning path. I could not ask for a better or more fulling profession, wife, or son or daughters than I have. I'm a pretty lucky guy.
