A staff psychiatrist with the Lincoln Regional Center since 2015, Dr. Jasung Kim works to stabilize symptoms and maximize function for patients with mental health issues. He utilizes a holistic approach to psychiatry, integrating practices such as group singing and daily rounding among inpatients. Dr. Jasung Kim encourages ongoing learning among physicians through a weekly psychopharmacology review program and regular book discussion group. Previously, he held positions with Family Psychiatric Associates and Lincoln Psychiatric Group and is the former psychiatrist-in-chief at Dong-In Hospital in Dong-Hae, Gang-Won, South Korea.

An alumnus of Seoul National University with a MS and MD, Dr. Jasung Kim completed an internship and a psychiatry residency at Seoul National University Hospital. After completing a child psychiatry fellowship at Seoul National University Children’s Hospital and spending a year as an instructor at Dan-kook University Hospital, he relocated to the United States in 1995. There, Dr. Kim completed an internship at New York-Presbyterian Hospital and spent three years as a general psychiatry resident at the Cornell campus of New York-Presbyterian Hospital.
